Dr. Kelly Krobot joined HLVC in July 2012, but she isn’t a stranger around here. She first worked with us as Dr. Brandenberger before getting married to her husband Keith. They subsequently moved to San Antonio for a couple of years. Dr. Krobot enjoyed San Antonio but was glad for the opportunity to move back to the Texas Hill Country where many of her relatives live. She grew up in Hallettsville on her family’s farm and cattle operation but also has deep roots in this region. A member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, her family was one of the first families to settle in Fredericksburg. Dr. Krobot attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2004 Magna Cum Laude receiving her Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Biomedical Science. She was accepted into Texas A&M’s School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2008. She enjoys internal medicine and surgery. Gardening and camping are two of Dr. Krobot’s favorite pastimes, but she and her husband are currently adding another interest as they are both learning how to kayak. Dr. Krobot and her husband also attend the local Lutheran Church. The Krobots have two children, Will & Elizabeth.
