Laura started here at Highland Lakes in November of 2022, she was born in Georgetown, Texas and grew up in Burnet. Laura has had a passion for caring for animals since she was little and has worked in the animal care field since 2010 working for a dog boarding and training kennel and then started work in the veterinary care field. Her experience working with dogs in the Boarding and training kennel developed her hobby for the love of dog training and dog sports. One day she would like to help train service dog for various disabilities. Laura loves the outdoors, horseback riding, reading, all kinds of arts and crafts and helping her grandparents on the farm when she can. When not working Laura spends her time with her three kids James, Lyla and Lilith and their two dogs 10yr old Pandora (Doberman) and 2 yr old Kaia (German Shepherd).
